Birsa Institute of Professional Studies is established under the Governance of Paramedical Education Association and Social Service Socity (PEASSS) Regd. with an aim to bridge the ever increasing gap between the need and the availability of trained professionals. PEASSS is a body engaged in providing higher education since 2000. A number of Institutions and projects are being run under it. BIPS is a part of wider group governed under PEASSS.
BIPS is primarily engaged in providing professional education. All the programs offered by BIPS are employment oriented programs. The basic idea behind conception of BIPS is to address the problem of unemployment and to alleviate the same by providing quality professional education. The core group of BIPS has marked the rural, poor and underpriviledge sections of society as the primary target population and address their basic problems.
